Danny and Brandon first inquired with me looking for engagement photos in Atlanta that did not feel too staged or overly posed. They were looking for imagery that reflected them as couple and felt authentic to their style. We chose a combo of architecture and nature for their locations. I always love the clean architectural lines of The High Museum. It provides a nice neutral backdrop and allows the couple to really stand out in the images. The High Museum also provides some dynamic lighting opportunities as the light comes through the city buildings in the evening. I always prefer a mix of soft light for those timeless, natural portraits. And then playing with some shadows is a chance to create an entirely different look in the photos. As with so many other couples, their wedding plans were postponed because of Covid-19, but I hope to be able to celebrate with them soon enough!
