I am going to try and keep this brief but I could pour on for a while about these two. They are one of those couples where I swear it was like we were meant to go through this journey together. All of us with our busy schedules, finally found time to connect last year while I was in Florida, and I remember talking for a good few hours. So easy to talk to, and genuine and open. I was immediately attracted to their story and huge hearts. Being designers themselves, they were on the lookout for a creative photographer who could compliment their artistic eyes, and I was pretty honored when they choose me. I knew it would be something I would never forget.
The wedding day itself was a beautiful fusion of both of their backgrounds; Erin from the South, and Michael from the Southwest. They had their hands on every detail, big and small, and everyone who attended could feel the heart they put into making it a wonderful experience for those who came near and far to be there. Erin’s wore her mother’s vintage wedding veil and walked down the aisle with handkerchiefs that belonged to her great aunt and Michael’s great grandmother. The topper on the wedding cake was from Erin grandparents wedding, almost 60 years ago. So much love in this day, needless to say most shed a few tears throughout it. They held their ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church where Erin attended church growing up. Later, we took the afternoon for pictures around Greenville and stopped by Falls Park to continue our theme of pictures in nature. We ended the evening with a tasty spread, live band and LOTS of dancing at the Huguenot Mill Lofts in downtown Greenville. Enjoy their incredible story.
